FINNEY / THOMPSON ENTERTAINMENT (FTE) was formed in 2005 when producers Richard Finney and John Thompson created a partnership to produce quality commercial movies. Separately and together they have worked on and/or produced two dozen movies in the last ten years. Their company was founded with the goal of developing their own material with screenwriters and directors; raising the financing for each picture; directly supervising each of the productions; and then delivering the final movie to distributors. It has been this quality control on FTE’s projects that have resulted in such award winning films as “Lullaby” directed by acclaimed director Darrell Roodt (Oscar nominated “Yesterday”); “Carver” the controversial horror film released by Allumination Filmworks; and “The 8th Plague” winner of Best Picture and Best Cinematography at two separate film festivals.

2008 was another successful year for the company with Finney and Thompson producing “All’s Faire in Love” starring Christina Ricci, Matthew Lillard, Cedric the Entertainer and Ann Margret.

FTE is launching their comic book project, “The Wind Raider,” published by APE ENTERTAINMENT, one of the most innovative comic companies in the industry.
